Chris has worked extensively on issues related to major multilateral free trade agreements including the Trans Pacific Partnership (TTP) and the Trans Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). Ward developed and organized multi-platform digital question and answer sessions on international trade issues that included the participation of global CEO’s from three Fortune 500 multinational companies. In over 15 countries, Chris has organized and participated in round tables, workshops and digital and traditional media outreach involving stakeholders from a variety of civil society organizations.
His work with Baird’s CMC has included stakeholder mapping for the introduction of a new HIV technology in Africa, and more recently, through the FairPlay Movement has been working with agricultural workers and producers in South Africa affected by predatory trade practices.
Previously Chris served for 14 years in a variety of elected offices including, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Health, Minister of Education, Minister of Government Services and Government House Leader in Ontario, Canada.
