Communications Landscape
While it is essential to draft your communications strategy, it is equally important to know the communications landscape in which your company operates.
You need to know the different channels of communication that you can use and which would be best for your opportunities and issues.

Our experience
Baird’s CMC associates have decades of experience analysing communications landscapes across the world for governments, multinational organisations and international foundations.
Our associates are trained communications experts and several of them run communications management consultancies in the countries in which they are based. All of them are keenly aware of the shifting communications landscapes in their regions and the best way to talk about any given issue – be it using social media or traditional media.
Our Work
- Baird’s CMC does a lot of work with African journalists and policy researchers. In an effort to map the communications landscape of Africa, we have listed some of the researchers and journalists that we respect most on the website of our partner, Hyderus. We have put links to the work of each. We have not put contact details because privacy laws don’t allow it and we do not want to deluge them with internet spam. We will, however, be happy to pass on legitimate story ideas or offers of work to them.
- Health Issues India is a joint initiative of Hyderus Cyf, a global communications management consultancy with strong expertise in India, and PRinIndia, a leader in providing PR and communications products and services for the Indian market. Both companies are Baird’s CMC partner organisations. It is a guide to some of the latest trends, research, reports and journals on health in India. We provide original interviews and opinions of specialists as well as our own commentary on issues and events.
- Our associates write about the latest issues affecting health as well as the communications landscape on our blog as well as on our Twitter handle @BairdsHealth. We cover topics ranging from the latest developments on the health and communications front to new breakthroughs in crisis communication or project management techniques.
