By bringing together senior consultants with backgrounds in corporate reputation management, policy analysis, public affairs, corporate communications, market research, publishing and management consulting, Baird’s CMC develops strategies for entry into new markets, advocate changes in particular market segments and help influence financial and/or payments policy.
From these strategies we produce detailed plans for implementation in any part of the world.
Project examples: In 2012 we launched the Payments meets Mobile project in collaboration with Visa Europe to capture the thoughts and perspectives of some of the biggest players in the evolving mobile payments industry. We interviewed senior executives from different sectors including Visa, Telefonica, Vodafone, Barclaycard and Monitise to establish the state of and appetite for industry collaboration.
In Brazil we managed integrated communications for the largest drugstore chain including the acquisition of Drogão in 2010 and merger with Pacheco in 2011, which today makes this a group generating revenues in excess of US$2.5 billion.
